After possessing the body of a berserker in a game, overcoming countless hardships, finally killing the great demon, and at last reaching the ending, the text the man was confronted with was this:
[ New Game + ]
“No… Fuck….”
He gave everything. He bled for every victory. He clawed his way through impossible odds, lost companions, broke his body, and shattered his mind. And he won. He killed the great demon. He reached the ending. He was finally free.
Then the game told him to do it again.
New Game Plus. All his progress carries over. All his levels, skills, and equipment remain. But the enemies are stronger. The bosses have new patterns. And the great demon remembers being killed.
The man is not a hero. He is not a chosen one. He is a berserker who was thrown into a body that was never meant to be controlled. He has already died a hundred times. He has already lost count of the horrors he endured.
Now the game wants him to do it all over again. Harder. Meaner. With everything he gained from the first playthrough being the only reason he might survive.
Can a berserker who barely survived one playthrough find the strength to do it again, or will New Game Plus break him completely?
