1-star heroes are just meat shields to learn boss patterns. That was Seojin Han’s cold, efficient strategy when he ruled the leaderboards of the brutally difficult game Pick Me Up.
Then he wakes up inside the game as one of those disposable 1-star heroes.
Now he’s trapped in a gacha system where an unknown “Master” controls his every move, his party, and his life. Death is permanent. Failure means oblivion. His only way out is to rise through the ranks and somehow defeat the player who holds his fate like a god.
Can a forgotten 1-star fodder really rebel against the god who pulls the strings?
