The Primordial Core is an unconquerable dungeon. The lair of the most powerful monster ever to exist. The Original Monster. The incarnation of evil.
Swallow… who happens to be a lazy boss monster who just wants to sleep.
He should be terrorizing adventurers. He should be guarding ancient treasures. He should be the final boss that heroes train their whole lives to defeat.
Instead, he naps. He ignores intruders. He lets the dungeon’s maintenance fall apart while he dreams about snacks.
Taking care of this lazy bum is Renee, a homunculus maid whose obsession with Swallow knows no bounds. She cleans. She cooks. She glares at anyone who disturbs his beauty sleep. She would burn the world down for him and he would not even notice because he is napping.
At this point, the only one keeping the dungeon running is Patrick, the last brain cell of the bunch, and he is a skeleton. A literal pile of bones with more work ethic than the boss of the dungeon.
Will Mr. Swallow get any rest amid all this chaos? Or will his staff’s desperate attempts to maintain the dungeon’s reputation finally force him to act like a boss monster for once?
