Mysterious black towers have appeared all over the world. Inside them are monsters, danger, and the promise of power and fame. Only a select few are chosen to enter as players. Everyone calls it a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
25-year-old Juhyeok Bong calls it a death sentence.
He is a timid, anxious self-proclaimed “wimp.” He avoids conflict. He ducks his head in crowds. He is perfectly content with staying under the radar, living a quiet life where no one expects anything from him.
Then he is named as a player.
The tower chooses him. The system demands him. Everyone around him expects him to fail, and he agrees with them. He is not a hero. He is not brave. He is not strong.
But Juhyeok has something that the brave warriors and confident fighters lack. He has spent his whole life being weak. He knows how to survive when you cannot fight. He knows how to hide when you cannot win. He knows how to use traps, tricks, and timing to beat enemies that should crush him.
His strategy is not to become strong. His strategy is to never have to fight fair.
Will Juhyeok risk everything by entering the tower, or keep running from the one chance that could change his life? And if he enters, can a self-proclaimed wimp outsmart a tower designed to kill the brave?
