Goheon Dok and his close friend Hyeonjo of Mount Hua are ambushed by the Demonic Cult. Cornered and on the verge of death, they have nowhere left to run.
Before they are both killed, Hyeonjo hands Goheon the Plum Blossom Spirit Beads — a sacred relic of Mount Hua.
Then everything goes black.
Goheon wakes up in the body of Muhwi, an apprentice of Hyeonjo. He is now a Senior Disciple of Mount Hua, decades younger and far weaker than he once was. His friend is dead. His body is not his own. And the Demonic Cult is still out there.
But Goheon carries something no enemy can defeat: the memories, skills, and sword knowledge of a lifetime.
Can a phantom swordsman in a borrowed body protect Mount Hua and fulfill his fallen friend’s dying wish?
